Prices in Ghana change often, especially entry fees set in cedis. This guide gives typical prices we found in October 2026, with where they came from. Treat them as a guide, and always confirm before you travel.

Entry fees at popular sites (foreign adults)

  • Kakum National Park canopy walk: GH₵130 (official park pricing).
  • Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, Accra: GH₵100 (official rates; Mon–Sat 9am–7pm, Sun 10am–7pm).
  • Wli Waterfalls: GH₵60 lower falls, GH₵80–90 upper falls (official site).
  • Cape Coast Castle: around GH₵80 (2026 visitor guide).
  • Elmina Castle: reports range from GH₵40 to GH₵100.
  • Aburi Botanical Gardens: around GH₵60.
  • Mole National Park: around GH₵60 entry, plus safari and ranger fees.

Ghanaian citizens pay much lower rates at most sites. Fees are usually paid in cash in cedis at the gate.

Tours

  • Cape Coast, Elmina and Kakum day trip from Accra: typically US$120–225 per person.
  • Accra city tour: from about US$40 for a group half day to US$140+ for a full day.
  • Accra street food tour: about US$35–100 per person.
  • Volta Region day trip (Wli, Afadjato, Tafi Atome): about US$225–310 per person.
  • Mole National Park, 3 days: about US$700–1,600 per person, depending on flights.

Airport pickup in Accra

Pre-booked private transfers from Accra International Airport (formerly Kotoka) into the city typically cost about US$35–90 per vehicle, depending on the vehicle and destination.
