Cookies we use
We only use cookies that are needed for the website to work. They do not track you across other websites, and we do not use them for advertising.
- Session cookie: keeps forms working while you fill them in, and keeps staff signed in to our admin area. It expires when you close your browser or after a period of inactivity.
- Security cookie (XSRF-TOKEN): protects our forms against misuse by other websites.
Because these cookies are essential, they are set without asking. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this notice and ask for your consent first.
Other services that load on our pages
Our text font is served from our own website. Our icons are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address so it can send the icon file to your browser, as with any website you visit. Google Fonts does not set cookies.
Maps on destination, attraction and event pages only load if you click "Show map". OpenStreetMap then receives your IP address so it can send the map images, and the map code is loaded from unpkg.com. See OpenStreetMap's own privacy policy for how they handle this.
If you pay online, you are taken to our payment provider Paystack's secure page, which uses its own cookies.
If you choose a currency for approximate prices, we remember your choice in our essential session cookie.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, our forms may not work.
