Ankasa Conservation Area
Some of Ghana's wettest and richest rainforest, near the border with Côte d'Ivoire.
About Ankasa Conservation Area
Ankasa protects a large area of evergreen rainforest with towering trees, streams and an enormous variety of plants, butterflies and birds. Forest elephants and primates live here too, though they are hard to see. Guided walks from the park camp follow forest trails and rivers.
