Adanwomase Kente Village
A weaving village near Bonwire with a long history of making kente for Ashanti royalty.
About Adanwomase Kente Village
Adanwomase, a short drive from Bonwire, is one of the traditional kente-weaving villages of the Ashanti. Weavers here are said to have made cloth for the Asantehene for generations. Visitors can watch weaving on narrow looms, learn what the patterns mean and buy directly from the weavers, often more calmly than in the busier centres.
